We've considered everything to ensure your stay at Flora Dora Cottage delivers pure relaxation. From luxury hotel-standard Feather & Black mattresses, fluffy feather duvets, super comfy sofas and furnishings plus Molton Brown toiletries, you can be assured of spending quality downtime in this cosiest of cottages.

Ideal for families, friends, get togethers, anniversaries, reunions, or just getting away from it all to charming Filey for anything from a short break to a longer holiday. The town is bustling during the summer season, and sleepier during the winter months, but there is always something going on.

Flora Dora Cottage can also be rented in a three bedroom configuration (without the ground floor annexe) at lower rates outside the peak summer season.

Flora Dora Cottage is also available for longer stays at preferential rates during low season.

Although our normal format offers Friday-Monday 3 night and Monday-Friday 4 night stays, Flora Dora Cottage can be booked for one or more nights outside this format by special arrangement.

We love it when our guests return, which is why if you visit Flora Dora and want to come back for more, we'll give you 10% off your whole next stay if booked within a month after your last visit.

No Pets Policy. For the comfort of all our guests, we do not allow any pets at Flora Dora Cottage. We are one of a very few properties in the area who offer this facility. If you suffer from a pet allergy, or would just prefer to holiday where Fido hasn't stayed before you, Flora Dora is perfect for you!.

Gone fishing!

Filey Brigg is great at low tide for rockpooling with the kids, just borrow our buckets and nets for hours of seaside fun. Grown-ups might also like to borrow our very own lobster pot, where we caught these last year...

Living Room

The stunning large yet cosy living room is the focal point of Flora Dora Cottage. Featuring super-comfortable Loaf sofas, beautiful reclaimed brick open fireplace, artwork by local artists, Icelandic sheepskin rugs and much more, it's the perfect place to relax after a hard day's holidaying. Dive into one of our many books, or catch up on some TV, Netflix, or watch one of our classic films on DVD.

Kitchen

Our spacious superbly-appointed designer kitchen-diner with premium appliances. Including a Smeg range cooker, oven and grill, American fridge-freezer with chilled filtered water and ice, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and everything you need to whip up a feast. You can even borrow one of our cookery books.

The kitchen table seats 8 comfortably, with extra seating provided, as well as a high chair for our youngest guests.

Master Bedroom

The sumptuous Feather & Black super king-sized bed is the focal point to the large and airy master bedroom, which features full height beamed ceilings, sheepskin rugs and bespoke furniture, maps and paintings. Supremely comfortable, this is the room for the holidaymakers who paid the bill to enjoy some special time!

Annexe En Suite Bedroom

If you are bringing parents, other family or friends with you to Filey, Flora Dora's annexe suite provides separate and private en suite accommodation, with bath and shower, all on the ground floor of the property. Ideal for those who no longer do stairs, although please note that access is by a single step. Also very popular with grumpy teenagers as a hideaway!

Twin Bedroom

This is where the kids hang out. This room has two single beds, plus an added trundle bed for sleepovers with siblings and young friends. A blackout blind also gives you a fighting chance of an extra hour's sleep in the morning as well...

Second Bedroom

The smallest bedroom, but just maybe the cosiest! With full height beamed ceiling, detail chimney breast, king-size bed and smart TV, you will get the best night's sleep in here!

Main Bathroom

We really went to town with the main family bathroom, which is bright, fresh and inviting, with natural light pouring through the Velux windows. With designer turquoise crackle-glazed tiling throughout, high-end Vitra furnishings, Hans Grohe shower, and a large bath to unwind in after a day out exploring the area, what's not to love?
